Vietnam Wall Replica with Air Force display in front

A Vietnam Veterans Wall Memorial replica is on display in Rossville on Feb. 21 and 22.

A quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Wall Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be on display in Rossville today (Friday, Feb. 21) and Saturday, Feb. 22 for the public to see at no cost.

At 120 feet long and five feet high and containing all 58,300 names that are on the real wall in D.C., the replica wall is a history lesson and a work of art. ItÐÔÊӽ紫ý made of 3,000 pounds of cardboard, 300 sheets of chips boards, 38 gallons of glue, eight gallons and paint, four gallons of poly acrylic sealer and was constructed by 200 prisoners at Walker Faith and Character Based Prison in Rock Spring in 60 days.
